I work in finite element methods, computational fluid dynamics, fluid mechanics, scientific computing, and numerical analysis. My research particularly focuses on numerical methods and algorithmic performance for the Navier–Stokes equations and natural convection problems. I also develop and implement numerical simulations using the deal.II finite element library.
I am Sinan Ergen, a Research Assistant in the Department of Mathematics at Balıkesir University. I am currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Mathematics at Hacettepe University.
My academic work is mainly centered on finite element methods, computational fluid dynamics, fluid mechanics, scientific computing, and numerical analysis.
In particular, I am interested in numerical solution methods, iterative algorithms, and performance improvement techniques for the Navier–Stokes equations and natural convection problems.
